Co-Head Coaches
 
Heather Higgins
 
Heather is a rising sophomore at Lander College.  She swam SAIL for 10 years in addition to swimming for YSSC and Riverside High.  She has coached for PFST for the past two summers and we're excited to have her back!
 
Huston McGee
 
Huston is a graduating senior at Riverside High and swims competitively for YSSC and Riverside.  Huston was an assistant coach for PFST last year and we're thrilled to have him lead our team!

Becky van Evera
 
Coach Becky was a varsity letterman, swiming distance freestyle and backstroke for Clemson University and has led our Piranhas for the past five years.  We're so lucky to have such an accomplished swimmer and mentor to lead our team. 
 
Stroke Coaches
 
We're thrilled to add two new coaches to our staff this summer!  They will be assisting the coaches with drills and giving special attention to swimmers on their strokes/starts & turns.
 
Michael Lee
 
Michael is a rising senior at Riverside High.  He has swum SAIL for PFST for 11 years, 7 years competitively for EAC/YSSC, and 3 years on the state team for Riverside High.
 
Blake Senn
 
Blake is a rising senior at Riverside High.  He has swum SAIL for PFST for 10 years, 5 years competitively for EAC/YSSC, and 3 years on the state team for Riverside High.
 
 
We are very excited to have such experienced, energetic coaches !

What to bring:
2-3 towels
Pants and long sleeve shirt or sweat clothes (wet bodies get cold at the first couple of meets)
Goggles-extra strap
Caps
Ponytail holders-girls
Dry clothes for after the meet
Books or cards-put your name on them
Chair to sit in (fire ants are numerous)

Food:
Gatorade or water - NO carbonation the day of the meet
Pretzels
Fruit
Fruit snacks
Gold Fish
No junk food

Stretches:
Arms across chest
Legs spread lean to middle, right, left
Sit on ground and reach for toes and to sides
Butterfly
Quads-against fence

General Tips

Eat something NO LATER THAN 2 hrs. before the meet!!!
